Adi Barzel, PhD is the president elect of the Israeli society for Gene and Cell Therapy. Dr. Barzel is a senior lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry at Tel Aviv University. He is also co-founder LogicBio Therapeutics Inc. and Tabby Therapeutics. In Tel Aviv University, the Barzel lab is developing novel methods to engineer lymphocytes for immunotherapy.
